The Best Vegan French Onion Dip

This Vegan French Onion Dip is so easy to make and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Made with homemade dry onion soup mix and creamy Cashew Sour Cream, it’s perfect for holidays, and gatherings with friends. Serve it with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies.

Why Use Home Made Vegan French Onion Dip?

Stay away from the vegan store-bought brands. They’re very processed and contain loads of oil. Used the Cashew Sour Cream. It’s rich, tangy, and creamy

How To Make Vegan French Onion Dip

  1. Sour Cream
Prepare the cashew sour-cream with enough time to chill before serving. If you have time make this the day before.
  2. Mix All The Ingredients
Add the remaining ingredients, except for the salt, to the cashew sour cream and whisk until everything is well combined. Once everything is mixed then taste and then season with salt [or low sodium soy sauce] if need.

How To Serve Vegan French Onion Dip

This most obvious and popular way to serve this vegan French onion dip is with a bunch of  fat-free potato chips or homemade healthy tortilla chips to surround this dip. If you want a little more variety healthy crackers and fresh raw veggies are also an excellent option.

  2. Cover and place in the fridge and it’s good for up to 7 days. That’s why this dip is great for making a day or so in advance. It’s a simple and healthy snack to always have on hand for the kiddos as well.
  3. What is Vegetarian Worcestershire?
  4. Most Worcestershire sauces contain anchovies and are not vegan. So, make sure you get a vegetarian brand. If you don’t have it you can sub low-sodium soy sauceTamari, or Bragg’s Liquid Aminos. You can also omit if you wish.
  5. Can I Freeze Vegan French Onion Dip?
  6. Probably. But, it’s highly unlikely you will have any leftover. And, I don’t really know why you would freeze it because it’s so easy and fast to make.
  7. How Do I Make It Low Fat?
  8. Use my Easy Vegan Sour Cream in place of the cashew sour cream.
